Inside Joplin reporter Jessica Nugent has broken a story on problems facing Amy Jones, owner of Dream Makers Events, a Joplin business that was responsible for two recent Ultimate Wedding expos.
At one of those expos, all proceeds were promised to Homes for Hope, a Joplin charity which is rebuilding 20 homes for those who lost theirs in the May 22, 2011, Joplin Tornado. Nearly a year has passed, and no money has been received by the charity.
Ms. Jones also is facing a felony bad check charge.
