Milken Award, worth $25,000 presented to Joplin High School teacher Tobin Schultz

California businessman Lowell Milken, who presents $25,000 awards to Milken Educators each year, just named Tobin Schultz, as a recipient of the award.

Milken told students at an assembly, which is still going on, at this is not an award that is sought by teachers, but one in which he finds the teachers.

The recipient of this award can use it for any purpose whatsoever," Milken said.
