THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE MORNING AND
AFTERNOON. THE MAIN THREATS WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE BRIEF HEAVY
RAINFALL...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALIZED FLOODING...ESPECIALLY
IN AREAS THAT RECEIVED RAINFALL YESTERDAY.

LATER TONIGHT...ANOTHER ROUND OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS AND SPREAD EASTWARD
INTO SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND CENTRAL MISSOURI DURING THE OVERNIGHT
HOURS. MODERATE VERTICAL WIND SHEAR AND INCREASING INSTABILITY
WILL LEAD TO POTENTIALLY SEVERE STORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL
TO THE SIZE OF HALF DOLLARS AND WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH. LOCALIZED
TRAINING OF STORMS WILL PRODUCE POCKETS OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSE
A RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR LATE MONDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY AND
TUESDAY.

HEAT INDICES WILL CLIMB INTO THE MIDDLE 90S TO NEAR THE 100
DEGREE ON MONDAY.

NON-THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE ON
MONDAY...MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON.
