THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A WEAKENING AREA OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL
GRADUALLY DISSIPATE THIS MORNING. A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES WITHIN
THIS RAINFALL CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATER TODAY. WHILE MOST
AREAS WILL REMAIN DRY...THE BETTER COVERAGE OF STORMS ARE LIKELY
TO OCCUR OVER THE EASTERN OZARKS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

HEAT INDICES WILL REACH THE MIDDLE 90S ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
  AFTERNOONS.

MULTIPLE CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE REGION FROM
THURSDAY TO SATURDAY. THE WEATHER PATTERN DURING THIS PERIOD
WILL BE CONDUCIVE TO ORGANIZED SEVERE STORMS. HEAVY RAIN AND
LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING CAN NOT BE RULED OUT.
