C. J. Huff: We will try to improve math and science scores
You're going to try? That's all you've got? You haven't known what to do yet, so it's doubtful you're going to figure it out. Joplin used to set the pace around here. Wonder what changed? They were slipping prior to the tornado, but after Simpson left. Hmm...Oh yes, CJ and Bess happened! Time to clean house, get the kids some books from the money that was wasted on admin, and start over.
Well be careful, CJ, pace yourself. Got to take care of more urgent things first, like getting donors for that ribbon and keeping your special events and speeches before the cameras.
Whatever he tries will be too little and too late. You can bet he won't take responsibility for it but will be looking for a fall guy. Maybe he'll blame it on the temporary facilities. Yeah, that's it. Blame that and spin they'll be so excited about school now it'll be like magic. What a bunch of crap. Get him out.
Maybe some experienced teachers would help.
