Photos of Joe Biden and the cutting of the 6 1/2 mile ribbon
I think I'm going to complain to my congressman (Billy Boy) about all the wasted money that went into putting on this farce. Oh, wait a minute, I saw him there!
Challenge to journalist: extra amount of money for overtime to have every law enforcement officer out in force.... local, state, federal.. for CJ's shining moment. Whatever the amount.. CJ is worth it.
I can't get past the cost of this--not the ribbon, but all of the security expenses incurred whenever politicians travel. Hundreds of thousands of dollars to cut a ribbon for a "mission" MONTHS away from completion. What a waste.
This just goes to show that all politicians can unite behind flagrant misuse of publuc funds. Republican and Democrat: two sides of the same coin. This is why this country is embracing independent status as fast as it is abandoning paper and ink newspapers.
Bread and circuses. All that was missing was a brass band playing 76 Trombones and Wallace-Bajali singing backup. Give the mob and/or the hicks a party so that they keep these guys in charge.
I was disappointed that the auditors didn't get a turn speaking about how that monstrosity of an unfinished building is really being financed. Donations. Misappropriated funds. Income from "adjusted" attendance. I guess they were just too busy with their massive investigation to make the stage.
After all of that Huff wasn't even the one to cut the ribbon? What a let down!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost like having a step-father pat you on the back to say good job but you had to beg him to pay you on the back.
ReplyDeleteLooks like CJ might have some daddy issues...

ReplyDeleteBilly: "Which way to the buffet?!"

ReplyDeleteI like Joe. But, this just goes to show that a speech is just a speech, and people are people, and the twain rarely meet.

Maybe Biden needs some reading lessons so he can actually read his speech. Oh, wait! Can't get that in Joplin! They fired all their reading teachers.
ReplyDeleteCJ to community: "Before you is monumental proof that we can solve any problem with my brains and your money."
ReplyDeleteThat'll do CJ, that'll do.
Someday we will all look back on this and, well, we'll just look back on this.
ReplyDeleteCrazy Joe Biden. Really? What a tool....
