Amendment 3- Stick a fork in it!

With about two-thirds of state results in, opponents of Amendment 3 can start rejoicing.

The percentage is holding steady at 77 percent "no votes," according to the Secretary of State's office.

A total of 763,707 have voted against it, with 223,937 casting "yes" votes.

The measure also failed in Jasper County and surrounding counties by the final margins:

Jasper- Yes 4,666 No 17,554

Newton- Yes 3,111 No 9,938

McDonald- Yes 1,176 No 2.651

Barton Yes 544  No 2,503
