A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT. * SHORT TERM TRENDS...BANDS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH EAST SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE MISSOURI OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON. MANY LOCATIONS NORTH OF I-44 AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 65 HAVE ALREADY PICKED UP ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW. LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INDICATE THAT ROADS ARE BECOMING SNOW COVERED AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN MANY LOCATIONS...WITH NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS BEING REPORTED. SNOW WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST LATER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING. ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW...WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO FOUR INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED. * TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS INTO THIS EVENING. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW...WITH SOME ENHANCED SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN THREE AND FOUR INCHES ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. * WINDS AND VISIBILITY...VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A MILE IN AREAS OF MODERATE OR HEAVY SNOW. * IMPACTS...SNOW WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AS SLICK SPOTS DEVELOP ON AREA ROADS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES...
