New restrictions will make it difficult for Nixon to deal with state budget

New restrictions approved by Missouri voters in November are going to make it more difficult for Gov. Jay Nixon to do what he wants with the state budget this year.

The accompanying video notes that some of what Nixon is recommending simply is not going to happen because the Republicans, who have overwhelming majorities in both houses, have said that Medicaid expansion is off the table.

It also appears that there will be no pay increase for state workers.
