THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.
  ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

LIGHT SNOW WILL LIKELY DEVELOP LATE THIS EVENING INTO EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING WITH THE BEST CHANCES ACROSS THE WESTERN AND
NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 54
CORRIDOR...WHERE ONE HALF INCH TO ONE INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING OVER 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED LATE
TONIGHT AND SUNDAY AS AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT MOVES SOUTHEAST
THROUGH THE AREA. WIND CHILL VALUES OF -5 TO 5 DEGREES WILL
OCCUR LATE TONIGHT WEST OF HIGHWAY 65.

AS THE ARCTIC AIR AND BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS ARRIVE LATE
TONIGHT...ANY ROADWAYS THAT REMAIN WET WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL
TO FREEZE OVER AND DEVELOP BLACK ICE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS WILL OCCUR DURING THE
OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MORNING HOURS FROM SUNDAY THROUGH MUCH OF
  NEXT WEEK.
