Schweich offers timetable for release of Joplin R-8, city audits

During a news conference this morning as part of Missouri Press Association's annual Day at the Capitol, State Auditor Thomas Schweich said the report on the Joplin R-8 School District audit will be released in "about a month."

The audit of the City of Joplin is expected to be released approximately a month after that, Schweich said.

Carthage Press Managing Editor reports on the Press Facebook page that Schweich said the audit will be released more than 30 days before the April election, which would indicate it will be released before March 7.
