A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND ICE REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SUNDAY. * SHORT TERM TRENDS...SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS CAUSING SOME ADDITIONAL MINOR ACCUMULATIONS. * TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES OF STORM TOTAL SNOW. * ICE ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN ONE TENTH. * IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF FALLING AND ACCUMULATING SNOW AS WELL AS A THIN GLAZE OF ICE WILL MAKE TRAVEL CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS. THE KANSAS AND MISSOURI DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORTATION CONTINUE TO REPORT SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS ALONG WITH NUMEROUS SLIDE OFFS AND ACCIDENTS. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
