THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SOUTHERLY WINDS COULD GUST TO NEAR 30 MPH THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS INTO WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI.

ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE
OUTLOOK AREA THIS AFTERNOON ESPECIALLY FOR AREAS EAST OF
HIGHWAY 65. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...HOWEVER THE
STRONGEST STORMS COULD PRODUCE FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
  LIGHTNING.

A ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS THEN EXPECTED LATER THIS
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT AS STORMS MOVE OUT OF KANSAS AND
OKLAHOMA. A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH HAIL
UP TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY THROUGH
EARLY MONDAY MORNING. A FEW ROUNDS OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE. AT THIS TIME...THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR
SEVERE STORMS APPEARS AS IF IT WILL OCCUR FROM LATE SUNDAY
AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. ADDITIONALLY...HEAVY RAINFALL
COULD RESULT IN THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED FLOODING.

THERE IS THEN A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS AGAIN AROUND THE
  MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
