THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR * FAR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS. * THROUGH MONDAY MORNING * SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS TONIGHT. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. * THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS AS WELL AS SIGNIFICANT RISES AND FLOODING OF SOME MAIN STEM RIVERS. THOSE WITH OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL PLANS THIS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND INCLUDING CAMPING AND FLOATING ALONG AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RISING WATER LEVELS.
