McDonald County students return to classes after lockdown

McDonald County High School students have returned to their classrooms following an approximately two-hour lockdown at the beginning of school today.

Highway Patrol officers and McDonald County Sheriff's deputies were at the school early this morning as a precautionary measure.

Middle school students had been kept on their buses and are arriving at school.

The lockdown also extended to Anderson Elementary School. Reportedly, the person responsible for the lockdown has been apprehended.
