Lockwood teen bound over for trial on felony terroristic threat charge

A Lockwood teen was bound over for trial after waiving his preliminary hearing in Jasper County Circuit Court on a felony charge of making a terroristic threat.

Anthony Volkman, 17, is being held in the Newton County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash-only bond after being accused of making threats involving bombs and a campus shooting at Crowder College in Neosho.earlier this month.

Judge Gregory Stremel rejected a request to lower Volkman's bond.
