Fate of Joplin Blasters could be decided Monday night

The fate of the Joplin Blasters could be decided during a special City Council meeting 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall.

At that time, the council will review the Blasters' counter proposal to changes the council wanted for the lease for Joe Becker Stadium.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will hold a Special Meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Joplin City Hall, in the 5th floor Council Chambers, 602 S. Main.

The purpose of the Special Meeting is for the council to review the Joplin Blasters counterproposal regarding the lease agreement as approved January 4, 2016.
