I Survived the Joplin Tornado, 5:41 top Amazon rankings

Even though more than four and a half years have passed since May 22, 2011, the interest in books about the day that changed Joplin forever.

Lauren Tarshis' children's book, I Survived the Joplin Tornado, continues to top the Amazon rankings for Joplin Tornado books, followed by 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado by Carthage Press Managing Editor John Hacker and me, and the fictional Simple Pleasures by Kenna White.

It appears that more books are on their way about the tornado, but as of Monday, I was able to locate 24 books that are available in hardback or paperback and there are several more that are only available in an e-book format.
