A special Joplin City Council meeting that may determine the fate of the Joplin Blasters will be aired live on KGCS.
The following news release was issued by Southern News Service:
KGCS-TV will provide live coverage of the special meeting the Joplin City Council has scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11.
The meeting has been called to review the Joplin Blasters baseball team’s counterproposal regarding their stadium lease agreement as approved on Jan. 4 of this year.
KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink.
