Joplin NEA endorses Martucci, Musser, Sloan for R-8 Board of Education
(From Joplin NEA)
The JNEA BoE candidate interview committee has chosen the following three candidates to endorse for the April BoE elections:
Good sense and judgement may prevail after all! I am voting Martucci, Musser and Sloan! They are the best people for the job and will move the R8 BOE forward, not backward. It's time for the changes that have started to continue and the education to truly become about the students and their future.
Why would you NOT vote for the people who were endorsed by the TEACHERS of your school district? The teachers, for the most part, are not the problem with this district. I vote for Martucci, Musser, and Sloan, and pray that they bring even more change (for the better!) to Joplin!
I agree with you 11:36 AM. The candidates JNEA endorsed last year all won and we finally started seeing the change we needed to get the district back on track. Vote for Martuucci, Musser and Sloan and we will see even more positive change.
Our teachers are the people who work directly with children. They know what is best for our kids. If they are backing Martuucci, Musser and Sloan, then so am I. Good luck to the three of you.

ReplyDeleteThat's all I need to know!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know who NOT to vote for.
ReplyDeleteJNEA.....the kiss of death. I will definitely vote for anyone EXCEPT these people!

ReplyDeleteRecent history suggests quite the opposite of the kiss of death, really...
ReplyDeleteExcellent choices !
ReplyDeleteJNEA is self serving. No student focus no Jolin focus. We need to vote on the candidates most likely to focus on children! The hell with self servers.
