COUNCIL BILL NO. 2016-111
AN ORDINANCE approving a Work Authorization for Allgeier Martin & Associates Inc. for One Million, Three Hundred-Thirty Four Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($1,334,000.00) for Consultant Services for Design and Construction Management of Sanitary Sewer Projects in the Recovery Area and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2016-112
AN ORDINANCE approving an extension to the Solid Waste Collection Services for City of Joplin Facilities Agreement by and between the City of Joplin, Missouri, a Municipal Corporation, and Jordan Disposal, LLC which commenced on October 1, 2014 and was due to end on September 30, 2015; it was extended six (6) months to March 31, 2016; and now enacting a month to month extension for up to twelve months from April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017 with the option of continuing the month to month basis should a new agreement not be reached through the bidding process, dealing generally with the collection, hauling and disposal of solid waste from specified city owned buildings and facilities; and authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE accepting the bid of Allied Services, LLC d/b/a Republic Services of Galena to provide disposal services of bulky items, limbs/brush and tires at a local transfer station by Joplin residents; and dealing generally with the payment for those services; and containing and emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to enter into a Sub-Recipient Agreement with Joplin Schools in the amount of Four Million Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($4,750,000.00) to provide funding assistance for the design and construction of an Early Childhood Center and authorizing the Director of Planning, Development, and Neighborhood Services, to execute said Agreement and Amendments; and containing an emergency clause.
