Bright Futures decision, FEMA update on tap for Joplin R-8 Board

A report on FEMA reimbursements (or lack thereof) and a decision on Bright Futures Joplin's request for the school district to pay for two positions for the 2016-2017 school year will be among the items taken up by the Joplin R-8 Board of Education when it meets 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Education Building

A closed session will be held at 6 p.m. to discuss legal actions and the hiring, firing, promoting, or disciplining of personnel
