Wallace filed his request for lower payments just four months after his divorce from his wife of more than 30 years, Kathryn Wallace (now Wingo), was finalized.
In court documents, Wallace claims he cannot afford his $4,000 a month payments and had been turned down in an effort to get a loan.
His modification motion, filed January 14, 2015, in Fort Bend County District Court in Texas, explains Wallace's problem. "The petitioner lacks the ability to provide spousal maintenance in the amount ordered. lacked property that could be sold, mortgaged or otherwise pledged to raise the funds needed, attempted unsuccessfully to borrow the needed funds and knew of no source from which the money could have been borrowed or otherwise legally obtained."
The Wallaces had been married for 30 years when David Wallace filed for divorce February 8, 2012, less than two months before the Joplin City Council awarded Wallace-Bajjali a contract as the city's master developer on a resolution that passed with Councilman Ben Rosenberg abstaining.
In the petition, Wallace said the marriage was "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."
The next year was filled with motions for restraining orders having to do with money and property. On July 26, 2013, Kathryn Wallace filed a counter-petition in which she said Wallace was "guilty of adultery" and "cruel treatment of a nature that makes further living together insupportable."
Wallace filed for bankruptcy a month after his ex-wife filed the counter claim.
In documents filed in U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas in April 2015, Wallace claimed he had no income and was living off the $5,000 a month his second wife was making.
At that time, Wallace had only paid his ex-wife slightly more than $9,000.
" Otherwise Legally obtained" hasn't been a problem for him before, I doubt any money this DB obtained was "legally"
ReplyDeleteGive the guy credit, it was a great scam with a target well chosen.
ReplyDeleteGood thing it only took the city a year to get him out of town after having to deal with him for three years before that. Be proud that his ponzi scheme finally ended in Joplin.
Deletethat pic is at least 10 years old.
ReplyDeleteHow's his new wife?
ReplyDeleteShe's still happy with this Wallace, even though he's her broke ass sugar daddy now?
Can't pay his bills, can't get a job, if he needs Viagra then how does he buy it?
Even the tithing at church must be an embarrassment for this sorry sh*t of a scam artist.
He really suckered Crossland, O'Brian, Rohr, Woolston, Seibert, Shaw, Glaze, Cage and the other CART geniuses - too bad Rohr is the only one who left town
ReplyDeleteMove on, it will do your body good. Or, if you think you can do it any better, two of those people you mentioned will be up for reelection in 2018.
DeleteBe proud that he is unable to find a stupider group than the one he found in Joplin
ReplyDeleteWell he sure is lying to somebody... I read in the bankruptcy filing that in one deposition he admitted to making a million bucks in 2014. Now how the hell do you run to bankruptcy making a million bucks? Who was he working for? Dip shit asshole. The new wife WAS THE MISTRESS. She is who broke up his 30 year marriage. A real catch huh? I hope she's proud of herself and I just hope her little girl doesn't turn out like her hoe ass. Who cheats with a married man? A sleaze bag that's who. I give that rotten marriage another year at the most. They both look like two goof ball clowns on facebook. hahahahaha I also noticed Wallace is trying to get the investor lawsuit dismissed. claiming statue of limitations. trust me this clown is dangerous.
ReplyDeleteShe goes by Jeni Roussel Wallace on Face Book. Looks like the two go off on vacation often. No worries in the world. Yet he told Judge Bohm that he's dead broke and has no money. Big con artist. How can he afford to go off on lavish vacations? I'm sure he's making money somewhere or she'd be gone. I hope the court asks him about his trips. Where is he getting the money?
