Sentencing set for Joplin Islamic Center, Planned Parenthood arsonist

A  1 p.m. September 1 sentencing hearing is set in U. S. District Court in Springfield for Jedediah Stout, 32, Joplin, who pleaded guilty in April to the August 6, 2012, burning of the Joplin Islamic Center and the October 4, 2013, fire at the Joplin Planned Parenthood office.

Stout pleaded guilty to the following charges:

-Arson
-Explosives used in commission of a felony
-Damage to religious property/obstruction of religious beliefs
-Denial of access to clinic entrance
