Move Cantwell back down.
ReplyDeleteIt is almost August, and Joplin still has not filled all of its principal position. I suggested when they promoted Sacchetta, that this series of craziness would happen. I was told how wrong I was. It is not news, but this series of admin moves is further proof how screwed up Joplin Schools are. Just saying...
ReplyDeleteI have been in a good school district for over 15 years and never seen that. I bet that is the reason the school is amazing.
I know Eggleston's family- they are good people. I think the moves are right, just wrong timing.
It's CJ's fault....wait, no..It's Ridder's fault
ReplyDeleteThis is a sweet gig.
ReplyDeleteSince you have two AD's and coaches paid huge money to supervise activities, you can go home at the end of the day.
So different than 15-20 years ago.
Who are you kidding, 4:00? Those guys are out constantly at every school activity. I never go to a ballgame, play, concert, or debate event without seeing an administrator or assistant principal in attendance. They do get paid a lot more than their teachers, but they give up a lot of time with their families, too. I wouldn't have them paid less, but I would see the district stop wasting money on nonsense and raise teacher salaries to create a less horrendous gap between admin pay and teacher pay. Equitable salary should be the focus for awhile, as well as raising extracurricular stipends, but being an administrator is no easy or sweet gig.

ReplyDeleteThey don't need "Can't-well" back at JHS. No one deserves that. Send her back to Neosho where she came from.
Principals get paid more and they give up lots of time with their families. I don't think they get extra pay for after school activities.
ReplyDeleteCantwell is lousy.
Still need to get rid of some things like the PR person and her assistant.
530 you are delusional.
