Billy Long opposes Obamacare replacement bill

In a surprise announcement, Seventh District Congressman Billy Long has announced he will not vote for the Republican Affordable Care Act replacement bill:

“I have always stated that one of the few good things about ObamaCare is that people with pre-existing conditions would be covered,” Long said in a statement. “The MacArthur amendment strips away any guarantee that pre-existing conditions would be covered and affordable.”
The McArthur amendment allows states to opt out of Affordable Care Act provisions and would open the door to insurance companies to charge higher premiums to patients with pre-existing conditions.

This is the first time I have ever thought that Billy Long did the right thing!

Too bad it took the Orange Foolius and a Republican House majority to put Billy on the spot to where he had to stand up and be counted.

The real issue is that Billy Long does not trust the State of Missouri to allow his daughter coverage.

Concerned Citizen is only concerned about his own ass. He doesn't give a damn about a baby that is born with congenital heart disease or another illness that is a "pre-existing condition" that nullifies it from obtaining insurance if the parents are too poor to obtain insurance at birth. Concerned citizen feels these children born to poor people are disposable, and only those fortunate enough to have insurance are worth saving. Is it ignorance or apathy that a human being can watch a baby die without benefit of medical treatment, or is he just a prick that thinks the parents brought this on themselves. It doesn't matter, the Concerned citizen is the one that should be faced with death, because he certainly isn't a decent human being to politicize health care provided by every civilized nation in the world but the US.

    Build your own roads!

Write your own traffic laws for local conditions and driving habits!

Help regulate vehicle safety in the best interests of your neighbors and loved ones! One neighbor is a mechanic and the other has a collection of vehicles up on cement blocks for easy inspection.

Design and build your own internet!

Get with your neighbors to regulate the polluters up wind and upstream of your neighborhood!!

Self regulate securities offerings and help prevent insurance defaults in the best interests of your neighbors! It just takes a little time and knowledge and some good old community organizing!!!

The concerned citizen hasn't got a pot to piss in. That's why he's so selfish and self-absorbed. He thinks he pays too much in taxes, although US taxes per capita is much less than other countries in Europe, Great Britain, Australia, etc...Concerned citizen says "Let babies die their parents are poor" because he's always broke and can't pay more taxes or it would kill him. Trying to be cute with, The arse be yee, but he can't even spell ye. Lol, what a putz!

  9. 850...Suggest you move to one of your ideal countries...your petulance is a sign of a bitter person eaten up with a need to blame others and enjoy dependence on DC...

So if someone only cares about their needs and not the republics......that would make them republican alright. Make the rich richer and let the poor eat beautiful chocolate cake. Bigly yuuuuuuge cake. Believe me. I hear hundreds of people saying that.

    @ Concerned citizen,

You're right, I have nothing but contempt for people like you that whine about paying taxes to live in this country. You whine about healthcare because of your bitterness that you have insufficient funds to pay taxes to save the lives of innocent children. These kids were born to poor parents and like you have nothing. You are the one blaming THEM, not yourself for your inability to pay taxes as the rest of the free world does. People like you and Harvey Hutchinson need to learn to be more successful, so that you can pay your bills. I realize you are working with inferior capabilities toward that goal, but it is the Christian thing to do, or do you bitch about tithing at your church as well? I depend on DC for nothing, as do these children you loathe simply because their parents were poor. You should call yourself Contemptuous Citizen, it is far more accurate.
