Senator (Maria) Chappelle-Nadal (D-St. Louis) said she hopes the President is killed. Republicans and Democrats have called on her to resign. Her response: "Hell no." Last night, in an interview, she refused to apologize—twice.
If she will not resign, the Senate can vote to remove her. I believe they should."
Any talk of shooting politicians is disgusting. But, if this woman is required to resign or be fired we are being hypocritical. Ted Nugent suggested he'd be dead or in jail if Obama was re-elected, he also suggested that H Clinton suck on a machine gun. Sarah Palin often used second amendment language and made suggestions that people use 2nd amendment rights to solve problems. President Trump suggested that the second amendment crowd tale care of H Clinton during a campaign speech. Ironically, Trump had both to the White House this year. So please, spare us the hurt feelings Mo Republicans, stop being politically correct Snow Flakes as you like to say. Either they all get punished, or none of them get punished. Repubs set the precedent on this one.
ReplyDelete957..you have a warped morality....the first amendment is first for a reason. As an elected leader she crossed a reality line...anarchy is your outcome..maybe you don't rememberJFK or RFK,RR,MLK....
ReplyDeleteMr. Nugent and even Mrs. Palin are private citizens. Senator Chappelle-Nadal is an elected official paid with tax dollars. This woman has a position that paints what she says in a different light.
ReplyDelete@ 9:57 You are nothing but a partisan buffoon. Even Ol' shotgun toting Claire denounced her and called for her resignation.
ReplyDelete1116 and 124- How is asking that all these threats be treated the same bi partisan or warped? Again, Trump stated publicly that the 2nd amendment people could take matters into their own hands if Clinton get elected. Did you call for him to quit? Did it bother you that Palin, a VP candidate said similar things? Of course not. And please, stop w the private citizen excuse. Palin and Nugent have a lot of influence with their fame and the weak minded. I Have no political party, I am asking that all of this behavior be stopped. So please explain how you justify that only people that you obviously support get a pass for such rhetoric?

Anonymous 4:57,
ReplyDeleteWhere's your evidence of these quotes by Palin and Trump?
Time , date, setting?
Or upor warped imagination?

Is that a serious question Harvey? Just google it.
ReplyDeleteOops! The mayor of Harrisonville Mo recently referred to liberals as snowflakes and warned that they would be a part of our dark history if they are not careful. Any calls for his resignation? Harvey-It was in the KC Star.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 9:06,
ReplyDeleteHow about you get seriously?
Google it, and post it; if it do easy to find these lies?
Anyway your girl friend Nadal will not have her Senate seat by the end of the week. She also will have a date with the Secret Service.
Harvey Hutchinson 403-522-662 voice&text
I don't like the idea of the Senate being allowed to vote someone out when they haven't violated the law.
ReplyDeleteI think talk like this from any human being is irresponsible, and it really doesn't matter which side started it. I don't bash Melania Trump, because I didn't like when people did it to Michelle Obama. I am not using someone else's bad behavior as a license to commit bad behavior myself.
And, why is everyone picking on Uncle Ted?
9:16,
ReplyDeleteWhat does calling someone a snowflake and being part of dark history have in common with calling unequivocally ( and posted on the Facebook) for the assassination of the President of the United States?
Did she intend the violent overthrow of the United States Government?
Harvey Hutchinson 303-522-6622 voice&text
It reads like a threat Harvey. But why no reply about the President's comments? Do you really believe its all lies? He said it on the campaign trail. If its not posted, you don't believe it nor will you look it up? Very odd.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 6:35
ReplyDeleteExactly who did Trump advocate assasinating ? And in what precise language? And where is the written or recorded documentation of Trump threatening or recommending assassination?
Harvey Hutchinson 303-522-6622 voice&text
Google Harvey, Google. "Trump suggests 2nd amendment people could act against Hillary, Aug 9, 2016". Its there. It is in Trumpisms.
ReplyDeleteLet's be real, hoping Trump gets assassinated is not a threat, nor is it a call to action, although yes it could be insinuated as such. There's just too much us VS them here.
ReplyDeleteIt's up to the Missouri Senat for office removal, and the Secret Service for further criminal investigation.
ReplyDeleteBloggers speculations don't mean a lot
Harvey Hutchinson 303-522-6622 voice&text
1003 words having meaning....sad about all of this mess
ReplyDelete>>>There's just too much us VS them here.<<<
ReplyDeleteJust so your clear on me and Hervey being on OPPOSITE sides of the us VS them divide.
Acting ignorant to what your so called president and other fascists proclaim doesn't mean they didn't say it. It just means that you don't want to admit your kind is doing the same things you hypocrites cry out at the others for doing. Your trumpenfuhrer is overthrowing the US government. Laughing stock of the planet.
ReplyDeleteWell, when "them" get rid of "us", or "us" gets rid of "them", THEN WE SHALL HAVE PEACE! I think Emperor Palpatine said that.
