Greitens: Reckless liberal prosecutor is using her office to score political points

(From Gov. Eric Greitens)

As I have said before, I made a personal mistake before I was Governor. I did not commit a crime.

With today’s disappointing and misguided political decision, my confidence in our prosecutorial system is shaken, but not broken. I know this will be righted soon.

The people of Missouri deserve better than a reckless liberal prosecutor who uses her office to score political points.

I look forward to the legal remedies to reverse this action.

This will not for a moment deter me from doing the important work of the great people of Missouri.

Eric Greitens

Except that a grand jury concluded there was enough evidence to go to trial, so...

  2. It will be interesting to see what position you will get, Mr Greitens, in the muck of the Trump Swamp as a reward for the dry run for “can a sitting president be indicted” defense that Donald Trump will take from your “can a sitting governor be indicted.” He may even hire some of your lawyers as consultants!

Confusious say: "A real perpwalk for a sitting governor is rarer than a family values republican who keeps his peen to his wife!"

There is something wrong with these people. They have no shame. They believe they are the chosen ones. It appears the religious right is finally past its peak and the rest of the country is pushing back.

Maybe he was caught mid-wink to a fine lady officer while the photo was being taken and that's why he's all squinty in one eye?

Revenge by the whore he was having an affair with, all part of the plan to ruin him.
The woman knew he was married and I am sure the sex and photos were all consensual until she didn't get what she wanted.
She better be ready for karma to take a big bite out of her future.
    Pay-back won't be pretty.

It was her ex husband who discovered the blackmail and reported it. Other illigalities we're discovered afterwards.

@ 8:49 Spoken like a true republican hypocrite. If a Dem had done this you would be screaming for impeachment. So if she is a whore for having an affair, what does that make him? I mean besides an innocent republican?

    Two points:
    1) This was a Federal Grand Jury indictment.
    2) The woman did not bring the information forward; her ex-husband did.

  12. It was a grand jury, but not a federal grand jury. The indictment was issued in Circuit Court in St. Louis.

The people of Missouri deserve better than a cheating governor. If you would cheat on your wife, you would cheat on the people of Missouri.

The guy is a joke, he needs to go away...now. However, come on liberals....you can't really be taking the moral high ground here. You have plenty to be ashamed of (see:John Edwards, Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, etc.) There is plenty of sexual impropriety to go around.
