Rob O'Brian files for 32nd District Senate seat

Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce President Rob O'Brian has filed for the 32nd District State Senate seat, currently held by term-limited Ron Richard.

O'Brian will face Rep. Bill White, R-Joplin, in the GOP primary.

Conon Gillis, Joplin, has filed on the Green Party ticket.

No Democrats have filed for the seat.

    I dealt with Mr O'Brien when I had a public service job. What an arrogant blowhard--I doubt he will represent more than a tiny elite since he has such disdain for average people. So, SW MO politics as usual. How sad.
