Hartzler approves Trump decision to pull out of Iran agreement

(From Fourth District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler)

Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-04), Chairwoman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, made the following remarks regarding the President’s announcement on the Iran Deal:

“The Administration’s decision to withdraw from the current Iran nuclear agreement demonstrates the severe flaws within its framework. The current agreement does not stop Iran’s aggressive ballistic missiles program, fails to require ‘anytime, anywhere’ inspections, temporarily restricts Iran’s nuclear program, and released $100 billion of revenue previously frozen in offshore accounts - money that Iran has used to support terrorism and inject instability in the Middle East.

“Withdrawal from this agreement provides an opportunity to establish a more stable, equitable solution that ensures Iran does not develop and possess nuclear weapons. The current agreement fails to accomplish this goal. A new agreement should address Iran’s ballistic missiles program, include stronger inspections, and permanently restrict Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon.

“It is essential that moving forward an agreement is negotiated that ensures the safety and security of the American people and the world.”

I’ve been trying to understand this agreement. I’ve read articles from both sides. It seems the opposing sides are so different they’re not even talking about the same subject.
It would sure be nice to read or hear news that is unbiased and not so divided along party lines.

I am sorry to say this, but have not seen so much brown nosing since high school, the Army by some people. Long, Blunt, Hartzler, Sander(Sarah) and most republicans are in such a deep cesspool of doing what the big business wants them to do and not helping out their constituents. Sorry state we are in and where is infrastructure money to repair so much broken sewer systems, water systems, polluted lands, bad roads, bad bridges, fouled lakes and streams?

Yes, you just identified the same problems that existed during Obama's 8 years. He couldn't fix a thing.

  8. The President is spot on on both Penninsulas, Arabia and Korea. Glad someone is standing up to Iran and having Summit with Little Rocket Man.
Donald Trump will definitely earn the Nobel peace prize ( Obama got his for nothing).
Great move in getting the capital of Israel, the cradle of civilization moved to Jerusalem, it’s rightful place.
