Agenda posted for Joplin R-8 Board of Education meeting

The Joplin R-8 Board of Education will set the tax levy during its 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday at the Memorial Education Center.

The public tax levy hearing will be held at 7 p.m. followed by the regular meeting.

A closed session is scheduled for 6 p.m.

  2. At the moment, I am not planning to attend the meeting in person. I plan on watching the streamed version online. It is not quite the same, but considering I am in the middle of a lawsuit against the school district, it would probably be awkward for everyone.

    Of course you won't you coward. It's much easier holing up in your little apartment criticizing others than getting out and actually facing people who despise you. It is the easy way out for someone who cannot look in the mirror and see they are the problem. Attack others repeatedly spewing the same rhetoric until people believe it. You sound like a politician.....
