An 18-year-old Neosho High School student has been charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse following an incident in which he fondled another student, exposed himself and attempted to force her to perform a sex act on him.
According to the probable cause statement, the incident occurred between 11 and 11:30 p.m. September 8, near the area of the high school parking lot. The young man kept rubbing the victim's buttocks and her genital area though she had told him to stop.
The young man kept trying to convince the victim to perform oral sex on him, according to the statement. Though she told him no, "(he) became somewhat aggressive, grabbing the victim by the back of the head and throat area with both of his hands and forcing the victim's head down near his groin where his exposed penis was over the top of his black Adidas shorts."
The victim was able to avoid contact with the penis, according to the probable cause statement and was able to move to the other side of the vehicle. She asked him to take her to her own vehicle, which he did.
As she was returning to her vehicle, the report said, the young man called out, "Bye, whore. Kidding, love you."
The arraignment for the 18-year-old is scheduled for 9 a.m. December 11 in Newton County Circuit Court before Judge Kevin Selby.
The name of the accused?
ReplyDeleteThis is ridiculous that this even happened to this young lady and I am sorry that she had to endure this! There are alot of problems that have stemmed from kids being able to hang out on the parking lot at all hours of the day or night. The police department isn't allowed to do anything about it because the school district allows them to be there. As a taxpayers and former alumnus we need to take measures to get things changed. There is a former teacher who has been seen picking up trash that has been left by these kids. This is outrageous!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a future Supreme Court Justice to me.
ReplyDeleteVictim reported the incident immediately! There are facts to support the elements of the crime. Don't compare a real event with something the Democrats fabricated. Our local victim deserves better.
ReplyDeleteAgreed
DeleteBut the president does this, or at least he brags about doing it. Maybe the accused can cite the Access Hollywood tape as the reason he thought this behavior was okay.
ReplyDeleteReally? You had to make this political? You are what is wrong with America.
DeleteEvery person needs to be armed with information on how to prevent sexual abuse and what to do when it happens. We can't stick our heads in the sand. Afterall, 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 recall being sexually abused. Think of the numbers for those who aren't sharing the fact that it happened to them. You must expect something like this will happen and educate your child or family member on what to do. There are not many places that will say to fight your assailant because of more harm that can take place. Check out RAINN.org or nsvrc.org and arm yourself with information and be someone who can help prevent these heinous behaviors to the vulnerable.
