Ace Mohr's probation is hanging on life support.
Since he was placed on probation in March to charges of receiving stolen property and dealing heroin, Mohr has been charged with felony domestic assault and more recently two more felonies, armed robbery and assault.
These reported violations followed an unspecified probation violation report filed July 12.
The violation reports were not enough to get Mohr's probation completely revoked.
Jasper County Circuit Court Judge David Mouton ruled Monday that there was "probable cause to believe that the defended has committed an additional violation of a condition of probation that the court previously ordered."
Mouton ordered Mohr's probation to continue to be suspended, though not revoked, ordered a warrant for his arrest and set bond at $100,000.
It should be easy to serve the warrant since Mohr is being held without bond in the Jasper County Jail on the armed robbery and assault charges.
The activity in Mouton's court was just one of three cases involving Mohr dealt with in different Jasper County courts Monday.
Mohr was arraigned and pleaded not guilty to the domestic assault charge.
Mohr, who was represented by a public defender, asked for a change of judge and it was granted.
Mohr's next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. January 7 before Judge Dean Dankelson.
The probable cause statement said Mohr "pushed (the victim's) face into a wall causing (the victim's) upper lip to break and bleeding to occur.
"Ace then locked (the victim) in the bathroom, taunting (the victim) to kill (redacted). He then shoved (the victim's) face into broken glass on the floor causing a laceration on the forehead and serious bleeding to occur."
The victim was able to break away from Mohr, according to the statement and 911 was contacted.
Mohr's arraignment on felony armed robbery and assault charges, which was also scheduled for Monday, was postponed because Mohr's representation is still uncertain.
The public defender's office told Judge Joseph Hensley December 12 it does not have the resources to defend Mohr.
Now that Dankleson’s on it, Ace will be back to terrorizing the streets in no time.
ReplyDeleteThis dude is a real piece of work. He will end up destroying more lives each time he is put back out there. There are 2 possible reasons he keeps getting released. He is a rat and giving up his connections or they are building a federal case on him and he will be going by by for a long time. Either way a worthless lame punk.
ReplyDeleteI am going to puke if I keep seeing his picture
ReplyDeleteHe has already proven he is a woman beater and a violent repeat offender. His probabtion should have already been revoked and he should be shipped off to serve his sentence.
