The license of Kevin Cure, 55, former Galena city attorney, was suspended in June 2018 with the condition that he could not apply for reinstatement for six months.
Cure pleaded guilty to felony DWI June 26. He received a two-year sentenced and was placed on supervised probation for five years.
He was also arrested and pleaded guilty to DWI charges in 2014 and 2016.
Which of his licenses does the man want reinstated?
ReplyDeleteHis driving license? Or his lawyering license?
If you ask me he needs about a year of 40 hour weeks in a reflective jumpsuit picking up roadside litter with a nail on a stick before he can get either license back!
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel doesn't issue driver's licenses.
ReplyDeleteSad,anyone knowing him knew he had a serious drinking problem..ask 1209 or Crabbys staff...he needs sobriety before any license
ReplyDeleteIf he is a republican and donates to the cause he will get both licenses back and be given a sweet deal somewhere. Only in Missouri can you get off of a DWI charge by donating to a judge and then there are those who are able to get three, four or even five down in Mac County and still out driving around for the additional one. Just pay and walk. Neat system. Should have a federal license to do away with this so they cannot get several state licenses and keep on driving. More oversight needed with the number of bad drivers around.
ReplyDeleteThis guy needs to use Uber. Seriously. Stop drunk drivers.
ReplyDeleteThere's no reason to give driver licenses back to habitual addicts. They can use Uber and the rest of us can be safe.
ReplyDeleteHe will get reinstated
ReplyDeleteWhat's it gonna take for them to keep him off the streets for good? killing an innocent person or family? I saw this guy for days straight drunk in a parking lot. Around the time his license was suspended. should've cut him off.... #MADD
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets some help
