Government shutdowns negatively impact Kansans and Americans in numerous ways: federal employees and subcontractors are without paychecks and farmers across our state wait in uncertainty as crucial federal aid sits on the desks of furloughed employees.
Congress and the administration need to come together to resolve this partial shutdown, and that discussion ought to include a sense of urgency.
It is my hope that these negotiations result in a broader package on immigration and border security to accomplish our goal of a more secure border and to create a safe, fair and effective immigration system.
I am working with my colleagues in the Senate to reopen the government and get back to the issues ahead of us in this new year.

Mr Jerry Moron and his Republicant colleagues held the US House, The US Senate, and their fellow traveler Republicant Donald "Agent Orange" Trump was the President. This state of affairs (but no third divorce yet no matter how many pornstars get paid!) existed from self proclaimed yoogest inauguration ever until a few days ago.
Yet somehow...irregardless of all their swamp draining bullshit...here we are.

Firstly- I'm sure if Kenneth knew of a better place to reach more of the 'dull headed masses' than posting here at The Turner Report, then that's where you'd have to go to find him. It would probably need to be another local blog as the typical Republicant politicians elected recently to represent the local Four State Area function as leading indicator of approaching maximum 'dull headed masses' type doom.
Secondly- Beginning a sentence with a properly capitalized "And?" In the context of the rest of that sentence? I just can't!
7:18, it is enjoyable to come to a blog and read comments attacking grammar and the use of proper English. For a leftist, you seem very judgmental. How do you know that 5:39's first language is English? Perhaps he or she doesn't know the language that well.
