In the accompanying video KNWA reports that Dr. Robert Stuppy, 60, Pineville, a cardiologist, resumed his practice at Mercy Hospital in Rogers January 21 after the McDonald County Prosecuting Attorney dropped felony drugs and weapons charges against him.
Stuppy's wife, Becky, pleaded guilty and was placed on supervised probation for five years.
I don't think I want him as my doctor
ReplyDeleteYou obviously don't know him or you WOULD want him as your doc. Best Cardiologist in the area!
DeleteNot sure of facts, but looks like typical McDonald County justice. Who you know and who is your lawyer mean more than what you did and can get away with. Too bad it still goes on, somewhat like the deal with Goodman Fire Dept. president not getting anything for what he did.
ReplyDeleteDr. Stuppy is a very good cardiologist and I would have no fear at him seeing me professionally. I do wonder how his wife took the fall for this. Someone had to pay and this was probably the only way that Stuppy could return to work. Unless, this was Becky's business in the first place. I am glad this is settled.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! Dr Stuppy is a excellent physician. I would not hesitate to recommend my family or friends to his care.
ReplyDeleteI was Dr. Stuppy's patient VERY briefly, and he was so unbelievable rude to me the nurses couldn't get my blood pressure low enough to release me after my appointment with him. While I sat there trying to calm down, a nurse told this happens frequently and he is just a jerk to work with. Too bad he slimed his way out of this and back into the hospital.
ReplyDeleteHe may be a little blunt when he tells you what you should or shouldn't do about your health, it's only because he is intelligent and knows what's best for you.
DeleteHe is an excellent Cardiologist and if you chose not to keep going to him, that is your loss.
Had he been convicted, the Board of Healing Arts may not have been as lenient as his patients. BUT, he wasn’t convicted. My guess is he shelled out lots of money to arrange this deal. We are presumed innocent until proven guilty. He should have manned up and let a jury decide. Coward.
