Injured Lamar boy's mother reports positive sign, prayer vigils planned in Lamar, Seneca

Community prayer gatherings for Troy Onstott, 10, son of T. J. and Jill Onstott, Lamar, who was injured in an ATV accident Wednesday and is being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at the bandstand on the Lamar Square and at the Seneca City Park.

Troy's mother, the former Jill Elbert, is from Seneca.








She provided the following Facebook update this morning:

Day 4 is off to a positive start with a THUMBS UP from our #troyboy . Praise the Lord! 

His night nurse said that he did it for her upon command while I was sleeping, but seeing him raise that thumb up for us this morning was the greatest gift to receive.
