Galloway said the governor should call for a special session to implement the school safety report recommendation to place resource officers in all Missouri schools in an effort to prevent school shootings.
Parson said today he did not think that was a good idea.
I don't think that's anything we want to rush into. We want to take our time and if we are going to do that, make sure we do it right.Forty percent of Missouri's schools do not have a resource officer.
The video is from KMBC in Kansas City.
Rush in to it? Seriously?! How many more kids have to die before they do something that actually makes a difference instead of just screaming for gun control? What is wrong was protecting our children with trained officers?
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that these peoe find it ok that all of these kids in Missouri continue to be killed. They sit idly by while the body count grows. Day after day the blood flows through the halls of Missouri public schools in an unchecked wave that is washing our youth and our state's future away. It seems like a daily occurrence that we read of the massacres yet our elected officials act as if they aren't happening. Shameful.
