An October 21 trial date has been scheduled for Joplin doctor charged with statutory rape and statutory sodomy.
Jeremy Goins, 36, allegedly committed the crimes with a 16-yeaer-old girl between February 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017.
A pre-trial conference was held this morning in Jasper County Circuit Court with Springfield attorney Dee Wampler representing Goins and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Kimberly Fisher representing the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office.
Judge Dean Dankelson is presiding over the case.
Meh, I predict a plea deal.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who knows the girl knows its all a lie. Dr. Goins just got caught up in a girl wanting attention. Sorry you got put in the middle of it, Jeremy. You dont deserve it.
ReplyDeleteA 16 year old is not old enough to understand sexual situations. Sure, a 7 year old can decide to change genders, but 16 year olds are naive and not capable of making decisions regarding sex.
