Initial appearance held for Webb City man facing child porn, sex crimes with underage girls charges

The initial appearance for a Webb City man charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of children and two counts of coercion or enticement of a female was held this afternoon in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

The U. S. Attorney's office asked that Harley Wayne Schrader, 24, be held without bond. A detention hearing and scheduling conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.








A federal grand jury indicted Schrader August 20 alleging he persuaded two underage girl to "engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of such conduct".

Schrader allegedly committed the crimes with a nine-year-old between July 2 and July 10, 2017, and with a 16-year-old between October 1 and October 4, 2017
