A federal grand jury has indicted a Neosho woman on felony charges of being involved in a meth trafficking conspiracy, meth possession with intent to distribute and use of a weapon in meth trafficking.
According to the indictment, which was unsealed today, Cherie Copeland, 42, committed the acts between January 30, 2018 and October 23, 2019.
Copeland's initial appearance was held today in U. S. District Court in Springfield. A detention hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, December 16.
Copeland also faces state charges in connection with the same alleged conspiracy and is scheduled to go to trial May 13 in McDonald County Circuit Court.
