Springfield man excuse for masturbating at Wal-Mart: It's like a drug; I think about it and then I do it

Even those who approve of vigilante justice know there are some times when you should not take matters into your own hands.

A Springfield man ignored that wisdom, according to the probable cause affidavit charging him with burglary and sexual misconduct after he took a stroll through the store, masturbating as he watched women.

Apparently, it was a trip down memory lane for Bobby Gene Green, who was arrested after masturbating in the same Wal-Mart store six years ago.

"It's like a drug. I think about it and then I do it."

It was the 14th time Green has done it, according to the Springfield Police and could lead to a life sentence.

Greene County Circuit Court records indicating Green is being held without bond as a danger to the community. He pleaded not guilty during his initial appearance Monday.

The next hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. December 13.

Really, 14 times. What is wrong with this guy. You almost have to feel sorry for him or maybe he should be committed for therapy.

    Dayum!

I guess you can tell what crimes the legislature and courts do and don't really give a darn about. Not that I'm in favor of public indecency or public wanking but when they are constantly playing catch and release with drunk and drugged drivers that kill hundreds it's enough to make one wonder.

After all, has anyone ever seen something like this? Greene County Circuit Court records indicating THE ACCUSED DRUNK DRIVER is being held without bond as a danger to the community. He pleaded not guilty during his initial appearance.

Just remember these guys the next time there is a ballot issue fundraising for new/more jail space. One reason there is such a revolving door (not the only reason, but one for sure) is the lack of space to stash these creeps, and we can't afford to pay other counties to lock them up for us. I'm happy to pay a little more to get rid of drunks and druggies and creeps for as long as possible.

This state is a joke and so are the people that supposedly run it. We'd be better off on Mars.
