Joplin R-8 Board rehires 36 administrators, hires four teachers, accepts two retirements, one resignation

During a closed session February 25, the Joplin R-8 Board of Education renewed the contracts of 36 administrators, hired Nathan Stewart as principal at Royal Heights, hired four teachers and accepted the retirements of two teachers and the resignation of another.

The board also discussed legal matters.
