In the press conference following the conclusion of the House session Thursday, Minority Leader Crystal Quade, D-Springfield, outlines the activities this week, including the watch on what she describes as "19 anti LGBTQ bills," hearings on the problems that have surfaced with administration of medical marijuana and the continuing concern over the number of children who have been removed from the Medicaid rolls.
In other news, Quade notes that a bill filed in response to the U. S. Supreme Court's decision legalizing same sex marriage by eliminating all marriages in Missouri failed to make it past the Rules Committee.
