Eighteen COVID-19 deaths reported in Missouri, 15 in St. Louis County

Eighteen COVID-19 deaths occurred in Missouri during a 24-hour period, including 15 in St. Louis County, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Two deaths were reported in St. Louis and one in Jackson County.







To date, St. Louis County leads the state with 293 deaths, followed by 93 in St. Louis, 50 in St. Charles County, 16 in Kansas City, 15 in Jackson County, 14 in Franklin County and 10 in Jefferson County.

The state has had 10,142 confirmed cases, including 136 during the reporting period.

Area totals, according to the state, include 19 in Jasper County, 12 in Newton County, 10 in Joplin, five in McDonald County (another one was confirmed after the statistics were released) and none in Barton County.
