Five COVID-19 deaths over 24-hour period in Missouri, 194 cases confirmed

The death toll from COVID-19 in Missouri reached 676 as five more deaths were added over the past 24 hours, according to information released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

St. Louis County had four deaths and continued to lead the state with 383, followed by St. Louis with 105, St. Charles County 54, Kansas City 24, Franklin County 16 and Jackson County and Jefferson County with 15 apiece.







The state now has 11,752 coronavirus cases, an increase of 194 during the reporting period.

Locally, Jasper County has 20, Newton County 16, McDonald County 15, Joplin 11 and Barton County none.
