Missouri COVID-19 cases near 12,000, 10 more deaths recorded

Two hundred thirty-six COVID-19 cases were recorded in a Missouri over a 24-hour period, increasing the state's total to 11,988, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The state has had 681 deaths with 10 added over the reporting period.







St. Louis County has had 385 deaths, followed by St. Louis with 107, St. Charles County 54, Kansas City 24, Jefferson County and Franklin County 16 apiece and Jackson County 15.

The state statistics show Jasper County with 20 confirmed cases, followed by McDonald County with 17, Newton County 16, Joplin 11 (another has been added since then) and Barton County none.
