Six COVID-19 deaths reported in Missouri, case total nears 10,000

The fewest number of deaths in quite some time was reported in Missouri over a 24-hour period, according to statistics released by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

Six people died from the coronavirus, putting the death toll at 488.







Seventy-four cases were confirmed. Missouri has had 9,918.

Four of the six deaths were in St. Louis County, which leads the state with 266, followed by 88 in St. Louis, 33 in St. Charles County, 16 in Kansas City, 14 in Jackson County, 13 in Franklin County and 10 in Jefferson County.
