Thirty COVID-19 deaths reported in Missouri

Thirty COVID-19 deaths were reported in Missouri during a 24-hour period, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The deaths brings the state's total to 661. An additional 108 cases puts the state's total at 11,340.







St. Louis County recorded 24 of those deaths and leads the state with 376, followed by St. Louis with 103, St. Charles County 55, Kansas City 23 and Jackson County, Jefferson County and Franklin County with 15 deaths apiece.

No new coronavirus cases were reported in this area. Jasper County has had 19, Newton County 16, McDonald County 14, Joplin 10 and Barton County none.
