Twenty-three COVID-19 deaths added to Missouri total, 177 more cases confirmed

Twenty-three COVID-19 deaths were added to Missouri's total during a 24-hour period, bringing the state's total to 472, according to statistics released a few moments ago by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Fifteen of the deaths occurred in the city of St. Louis, which has had 86 deaths recorded, second only to St. Louis County, which had eight deaths increasing its total to 254.







St. Charles County has had 33, Kansas City 16, Jackson County 14, Franklin County 13 and Jefferson County 10.

An additional 179 coronavirus cases were confirmed during the period. Missouri has had 9,666 confirmed cases.
